My work was selected by the very gifted interior designer Kevin Dumais #dumais_inc to be included in his designed room for Housing Works’ benefit, Design on a Dime NYC 2018!

I was so delighted that my monoprint from the series, Scenes from Above: The Devin Prints—this one entitled Doppelgänger— was chosen as the book cover for From Trauma to Healing: A Social Worker’s Guide to Working with Survivors written by Dr. Ann Goelitz with Abigail Stewart-Kahn.

I knew I wanted to write this post about # Robert Kaupelis, the painter, abstract expressionist and my teacher who had a great influence on my way of seeing. He was an extraordinary teacher…and his two books (Learning to Draw and Experimental Drawing ) are like him, catalysts that push artists to go beyond the boundaries of mediums and convention.

As a social worker, Brooklynite and an artist, I was delighted to have ten pieces of my art selected for permanent exhibition at the Atlantic Avenue community room at 1825 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn.

Marina is a printmaking master and collaborator extraordinaire. I have been working with her for years and it always such an exciting adventure.
